Summer literally hasn't even officially started and I already feel like it's almost over. With work travel for me to Decatur, Jay traveling to China for 8 days, my dad's house renovations, Girl Scouts, weddings, and just LIFE, it seems like life is flying past.
Luckily, we have a vacation planned in just a few weeks. It won't be exotic - not in northern Wisconsin at the cabin we've rented - and it won't be a once in a lifetime experience like a first trip to Disney World, but it will be exactly what we need as a family. Time together. That's what we need most these days and we can hardly wait.
In fact, we've been doing a little prep shopping to get ready. We'll need some camp chairs...
and some fishing supplies...
And a whole lot of nothing else. No alarm clocks, no time constraints, no problem.
