A great cause

Over the last few years Jenny and I started trying to find a charity to really get into.  We volunteered with Easter Seals, raising over $50,000 with our teams, and ran a race for the Arthritis Foundation. Fast forward a few months to my boss's son being diagnosed with leukemia and St. Jude Children's Hospital jumped right to the top of our list.  So in addition to running a 1/2 marathon for them (more to come on that) we signed up for the second year in a row to attend the American Girl doll tea with our friends Laura and Beth.

This year, Shelley and her girls also joined us, and Beth and I decided that Sami and Lexi were also big enough to attend.  Boom - eight little girls (and their dolls) were ready to get their tea on.
The girls made cards for the kids at St. Jude and decorated bags for their dolls.
And the kids got their nails painted, their dolls hair fixed, and actually had tea.

Nails, crafts, dolls, and charity.  Great spring day.
