It's hard to believe that it's been four short years since Addison was born. And, since this is OUR blog after all, here is the email Jay sent out describing the newest addition to our family. And thanks to the magic of the internet, this is being posted exactly four years later.
"At 7:36 AM this morning, 15 minutes after the start of the C-section Steph and I were blessed with a beautiful little girl. She is 9 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 inches long, with dark blonde hair and beaming blue eyes. Both Steph and Addison Marie are doing great. They will be in the hospital until Saturday or Sunday, standard for a C-section.
A couple of quotes from the Doctors:
Before I even heard the baby cry Dr. Couri said, " Wow Steph you made the right call on the scheduled C-section because there is no way she was coming out any other way."
The pediatrician said "I think we left this one in a little long, she looks like she is 2 months late."
She definitely gets her size from me!!
We want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers throughout our endeavor, it has helped a lot.
P.S. she had to be moved up a diaper size, so if anyone needs some newborns I have an open pack of 60 that are going to be wasted."
