So this guy tried to live by the word of the Bible - the literal word - for a year.

I am fascinated. And pretty sure I couldn't do it. I can't even give up sweets for a week!

Addi's First Sentence
Jay called me today to let me know that while eating breakfast this morning (he is on 2nd shift this week), Addison said her first complete sentence. It was:
"Give Addi bite of pie."
Not sure why they were having pie for breakfast but it's good to know her language skills (as well as her bossy attitude!) are right on schedule!

Paci-Addiction!
Addi's doctor told us we should take away the Paci at 15 months. Apparently, we didn't listen... and now the Paci is a MAJOR addiction.
The picture is blurry but you can tell Addi loves them! We are constantly saying we are going to try to take it away soon.... but really, who likes to listen to her SCREAMING when she wants it????????
Ok.... just saw our future... We better learn to say no now before she is 18 YEARS instead of 18 MONTHS!

It's getting COLD!!
It has been really chilly the last few nights! Addi and I went out to play at a neighbors house on Friday night and couldn't stay long because it was SO windy! But, she did get a few good trips down the slide and for the first time went on the big kids swing! She was very proud of herself (I think she looks a little smug in this picture!)
We had a busy weekend - my dad came to visit from North Dakota. Then, Jay woke up today and felt awful... He hasn't left the couch all day.
I am convinced he has West Nile. But, I have always been a slight hypochondriac at times. Not that I have heard that before. :)
Time for a new week!

Addi is a GREAT pet mom!
Ending Summer Nights at the Park
The last few nights it really has seemed like summer is coming to an end (sad face). Jay has been on second shift this whole week covering for another supervisor so it's been just me and Addi every night.
SPending time at our neighborhood park is definately one of our favorite parts of our new neighborhood. With the pond, Addi gets to not only swing, climb, and run, but also look at "fiss-ies!"
